Grant posted this on his Facebook!

Grant Gustin always planned on moving to New York to take the stage world by storm. Well on his way to doing so, that’s when life threw him a little Gleetour.

Glee found me,” Gustin, who made his debut on tonight’s episode as Sebastian Smithe, tells EW exclusively. “I didn’t really go looking for it. The plan was to be on stage [and then do TV/film] and the order of what I wanted to do flip-flopped.”

Gustin was performing as part of a tour for West Side Story when he went out for a small dancing part on Glee, only to be called back and eventually offered the part of Sebastian, a new addition to the Warblers who set his sights on Blaine. (Trivia: The character was actually originally named Cameron Connors!) But having “never played a villain” before, Gustin says he has taken a liking to Sebastian’s evil ways.

“I’m excited, but I’m also terrified,” he says of taking on the new polarizing character, who will attempt to come between one of TV’s most beloved on-screen couples. “I’ve gotten a taste of [backlash] so far…Initially, it was very scary. I don’t know how seriously to take stuff, obviously, but the day the information leaked, I got literal death threats. People were saying, ‘If you break Klaine up, I will find you and kill you.’ And I was like, [nervous laughter].” But he says he understands why the passionate fanbase would take aim at this potential romantic threat. “My character is scary. And if I wasn’t the one playing him, I would potentially hate him, too.”

And while tonight’s episode found Blaine and Kurt closer than ever, Gustin says that does not spell disaster for Sebastian’s plan of attack. “Sebastian knows all he wants and needs to know about Blaine. He’s on the prowl,” says Gustin, who will next appear in episode 8. “I don’t think getting to know Blaine better is No. 1 on his priority list. I think stealing him is No. 1.”

Soon, Gleeks will also get a chance to experience Sebastian’s “Santana-like” humor, says Gustin. “He’s very straightforward. He doesn’t care who he upsets with what he does or says, which is not me at all,” he says with a laugh.

Beyond his next appearance, Gustin isn’t entirely sure how long his run on the show will be (“I could stir up the pot and then peace-out or I could be around for a while”). But, he says, he’s humbled by the chance to be a part of the Glee-verse — even as one of the show’s newest foes. “I don’t feel more deserving of this experience than literally hundreds of people I know and have worked with who are more talented than me. I’m so grateful for this experience.”

I’ve added HD caps from last night’s Glee into the gallery. I thought that Grant was great last night! So funny and the perfect contrast to Blaine and Kurt. What did you guys think?

Darren Criss and Chris Colfer’s Glee romance will get physical on next week’s episode of the Fox musical-comedy.

In the episode, titled The First Time, Criss’ Blaine Anderson and Colfer’s Kurt Hummel take their budding romance to the next level, according to Entertainment Weekly (EW).

The coupling is “handled very delicately and is incredibly moving,” the entertainment glossy wrote.

“I can’t think of another network series that’s taken a teenage gay relationship so far or been so progressive,” EW noted.

In a promo for the episode, Blaine asks Kurt, “Don’t you want to experience everything in life that you can?” (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page.)

The couple’s decision is prompted by the arrival of Sebastian (played by newcomer Grant Gustin), a scheming Dalton Academy Warbler who aggressively pursues Blaine.

Viewers can also expect to see the return of Dave Karofsky (Max Adler), the closeted William McKinley High School bully who tormented Kurt for being gay last season and ended up being crowned prom king. Kurt and Blaine run into the football star in West Lima’s only gay bar, appropriately titled Scandals.

Also set to lose their virginity on the episode are Finn Hudson (played by Cory Monteith) and Rachel Berry (Lea Michele).

Grant Gustin Source is officially open! I’ll be adding more stuff to the gallery over the next day or so, but I’m excited! Let me know what you think in the comments!

Grant Gustin, who recently appeared in the Broadway national tour of West Side Story as Baby John, will join the Warblers of Dalton Academy on the Nov. 8 episode of “Glee,” which is entitled “My First Time,” according to TVLine.com.

Gustin will play Sebastian, a gay student at Dalton Academy who will come between Kurt and Blaine, played by Chris Colfer and Darren Criss, respectively. Sebastian is described as the male version of Santana (Naya Rivera) and this season’s villain.

Also on the upcoming episode, as McKinley High prepares to put on the Leonard Bernstein-Stephen Sondheim-Arthur Laurents classic West Side Story, the students will perform covers of “America” and “A Boy Like That.”

The characters of Santana (Rivera), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Brittany (Heather Morris), Puck (Mark Salling) and Mike (Harry Shum, Jr.) will perform in “America”; and Santana will join Rachel (Lea Michele) for “A Boy Like That.”

Here’s how Fox describes the “My First Time” episode: “Under Artie’s (Kevin McHale) directorial leadership, the kids prepare to perform the school musical West Side Story. Meanwhile, Finn (Cory Monteith) meets with a recruiter, and Coach Bieste (Dot-Marie Jones) has an admirer.”

“Glee” airs Tuesday nights on Fox at 8 PM ET.
